About

Good day readers. My name is Natalie Fraser and I am a second year Journalism student at Humber College.  The type of journalism I have myself interested in would be radio broadcasting. Nothing beats playing music and having heated discussions with others over the airwaves for others to hear.

My passion for media came alive in the year of 2004 when I volunteered at the Black Business Professional Association’s Harry Jerome Awards show, held in the Metro Convention Centre of Toronto. Meeting and seeing a live interview with actress Tonya Lee Williams, formerly on The Young and The Restless; left an amazing impression in my soul.

My love for journalism came from two occasions. The first was attending a Verse City summer program; held and funded by Ryerson University. It was a five day journalist camp   and gave me the chance to

Secondly decided to upgrade at George Brown College. I my eyes set obtaining a bachelor in communications or English studies. My career counselor suggested a career in journalism, that way I could have many more options.

That lead me to the Humber College Radio Broadcasting program. Its been a wild two years. Surviving the Ontario College strike and endless assignments. I feel it was a great program to be apart of. With graduation right around the corner, I feel ready to take on the world.

Outside of journalism, I definitely have other interests. They include relaxing, music, traveling and nightlife entertainment.

Feel free to hit me up on my social media accounts.
