Apples are both delicious and attractive

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. I’m not kidding this is a good fruit to have. There are so many health benefits, you wouldn’t believe it.  According to Eat Well Magazine apples have five basic health benefits. Protection of heart, boost brain health, helps with weight loss, lowers the risk of type 2 diabetes and fights cancer.

Don’t forget that apples also can be paired with other foods to enhance the taste. Apples can be added to coleslaw, oatmeal, even a turkey sandwich. The possibilities are endless. This is an all-star fruit, enjoy with the skin on and make sure to wash it off nicely. Click here for apple related recipes.

The next item highlighted will be the most important resource we have on this planet.

70% of our planet is made up of water; more importantly, our bodies are made up of 60%. That makes water a big deal for our plants and our bodies. there are a million reasons why we should all drink more.

Don’t be thirsty, stay hydrated.

It’s necessary for kidneys and other body functions. Have bad skin? Well,  water assists with health and beauty. When skin is dehydrated it’s vulnerable to skin disorders and pre-wrinkling. Water flushes out the bad waste in our bodies which helps the digestive system. Water is an aid for the body and for plants, animals and basic washing.

It doesn’t get more clear (haha you get it). Water can benefit this world in many ways. Grab it in a bottle or from a purified system. Enjoy it on a hot summer day, or a dry cold day. Fun fact, water helps reduce a hangover. That should be an incentive.

Finally,  let’s talk a slice of meat. Here’s one of my favourites that are cost-effective and tasty.

A delicious Tuna sandwich complimented with lettuce

Tuna is a type of fish that is a great snack for any age. It also is a great addition to meals. picture a tuna salad or even a tuna casserole, maybe a tuna and tomato pasta? The health benefits with this fish are awesome. not only is this food filled with vitamins B6 and B12, but there’s also an impressive amount of iron, magnesium, and potassium.

Wait there’s more… the health benefits continue. the high levels of omega-3 fatty acids do a plethora of things. Like reducing the risk of eye disorders and can help reduce hypertension. Need a good tuna recipe, click here.

Hopefully, this will ignite the idea of healthier food options. This is just a couple of ideas to make healthier food choices easier.
